This Privacy Policy explains how TCoops ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our websites, applications, tools, and services.
The Services are operated by TCoops. We are responsible for the personal information we collect and process.
FIM uses Google Sign-In as its only login method. When you sign in, Google asks your permission to share your basic profile with us. We receive and store:
We do not receive or store your Google password, and we do not keep Google access tokens after sign-in completes. We request only the basic openid, email and profile scopes; we do not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service.
To create and secure your FIM account, to recognise you when you sign back in, to show your name and picture inside the app, to review your beta application, and to send you account and beta-programme emails (for example, confirming we received your signup or that your access was approved). If you tick the optional email box during signup we may also send occasional product updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Your email address and name are shared with Brevo (our email provider, servers in the EU) so we can send the emails above. If you accept analytics, your email address and display name are attached to your analytics profile in PostHog (servers in the US) so we can recognise beta testers and follow up on feedback. We do not share Google user data with anyone else.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it or share it with data brokers, do not use it to assess creditworthiness, and do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
We do NOT sell personal information.
We share information only as necessary with service providers:
Brevo (brevo.com) — Email delivery and contact management. Brevo processes your email address, name and email engagement data (opens, clicks, unsubscribes). We use it to send account and beta-programme emails to everyone who signs up for FIM, and product updates only to people who opted in during signup. Brevo servers are located in the European Union. Brevo's privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and provide analytics.
We are based in Alberta, Canada. Our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We protect personal information with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and encryption at rest on our database provider (MongoDB Atlas). Access to production data is limited to the operator. We never store Google passwords or Google access tokens. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for safeguarding your own Google account.

Our Services are not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
If we materially change how we use Google user data, we will notify FIM users by email or by an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
If visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the Website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the Website.
Pages on this Website may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, or other content). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata may be retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

SliceBridge is a browser-based tool that converts Snapmaker 3D-printing project files (`.3mf`) so they open in Bambu Studio. The conversion runs entirely in client-side JavaScript — there is no backend, and no file, filename, file path, or content is transmitted to us or any third party.
SliceBridge uses PostHog for optional analytics. Nothing analytics-related loads until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline or never choose, the PostHog SDK is not downloaded and no cookie is set.

Google AdSense is wired into SliceBridge but not currently active — no publisher ID is configured, so no ad script loads and no advertising cookies are set today.

BaseTrace is a free, browser-based tool that converts STL and 3MF 3D model files to SVG by detecting and extracting flat surfaces. The conversion runs entirely in client-side JavaScript using THREE.js. There is no backend, and no file, filename, file path, or content is transmitted to us or any third party.
BaseTrace uses PostHog for optional analytics. Analytics only load when you visit the app; if you never enable analytics, no PostHog SDK is downloaded.

The Filament Inventory Manager (FIM) uses PostHog (posthog.com, servers in the United States) to collect pseudonymous feature-usage analytics.
This information is used solely for beta program management and product improvement. It is not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
FIM uses PostHog's session recording feature to capture anonymized screen interactions — including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour — to identify usability issues and improve the product experience. Text typed into form fields (such as spool names or weights) is masked and not recorded. Session recordings are retained for 90 days and are accessible only to TCoops. Recordings are subject to the same consent mechanism as analytics — you may decline or withdraw consent at any time.
Data transfers from Canada/EU to the US are covered under PostHog's Standard Contractual Clauses. Analytics data is retained for 12 months, after which it is deleted.
Analytics and session recordings in FIM are enabled only after you explicitly click "Accept" in the consent banner shown on first use.
